The continental breakfast was okay.
You could hear every truck that went by on the interstate and the TV remote did not work!

It is an older motel remodeled in some areas. Its okay for the price.
I did not like the motel-like rooms facing the parking lot and the pools were nasty.

It is okay if you are on a budget. We stayed in adjoining rooms with all of our family. We also stayed in a lower level room facing the parking lot which is okay but not great. The pool needed cleaning at the time of our visit. ...read more

They did offer breakfast.
We had a handicap room and did not need one.

Overall the hotel was okay. Expensive for what we got. It is convenient to interstate traveling. Lots or restaurants around.

My room was nicer than some: it had a desk in it.
My room had fruit flies everywhere, and their continental breakfast is bad (putrid OJ and no cream cheese for their bagels).

The Fort Payne Econo Lodge is the cheapest hotel in the area, and probably the best economical way to spend the weekend in the Fort Payne area. If you come with the right expectations (that this will not be a luxury hotel) you will not be disappointed. ...read more

Low budget hotel with a high budget cost. Not worth it.

It was clean enough, the free breakfast bar left something to be desired. I would stay there again only if I had too because it is was a forty-five dollar room for seventy-nine dollars.

The price was pretty good and it had a nice pool.
The beds were too hard.

We had a pretty good stay.

Price and location.
Had a smoking rather than non-smoking room.

Facilities were what were to be expected for the economy price. However, I wish more non-smoking rooms were available since the smoking scent was very evident in the room I stayed in.
